Project background

The Uniqa Insurance project commenced in December 2021, with the primary goal of updating their existing Liferay 6.2 platform to version 7.3. Following the successful upgrade, we completed a thorough redesign before the platform upgrade to version 7.4.

Implementation

During the project, we replaced the existing functionalities with factory solutions with special attention, thus reducing the need for customization and increasing system stability. As part of the modernization process, we implemented the following key project elements:

  • CRM integration
  • Claim Reporting
  • User migration
  • Asset base-search and charts
  • Product pages
  • Mega menu

Design and Front-end Development

A significant part of the project was the website redesign of Uniqua, for which we developed front-end solutions based on designs provided by an external design partner. Ensuring that Uniqa's online interface delivered an excellent user experience on all devices and screen sizes was essential. Through applying responsive design, we ensured that the website was accessible and enjoyable for all users, regardless of the devices they used.

Results

In May 2022, we successfully delivered the updated and redesigned Liferay platform, significantly improving Uniqa's digital presence. Through this project, Uniqa was able to enhance the efficiency of its online services, improve customer experience, and strengthen its market position in digital transformation.
