Budapest Közút: automated fuel record-keeping on Liferay and PHP

The leadership of Budapest Közút set a clear goal: fuel usage records - including fuel inventory, consumption data, trip logs, and equipment logbooks - had to be managed using up-to-date methods that required no manual intervention. The previous paper-based processes allowed neither real-time tracking nor error-free data handling.

As part of the project, we managed the replacement of the fueling automats and carried out the necessary IT and network developments - all without disrupting Budapest Közút's day-to-day operations for even a moment. Following the transition, we supported staff with training and professional guidance to help them get familiar with the new system and its everyday use.

As a result of the development, the entire fuel procurement process became fully regulated, and paper-based transactions were eliminated entirely. Fueling data is now transferred in real time and automatically to the Trip Log and Inventory Management systems, where it is processed, tracked, and verified automatically - without manual intervention or paper-based administration.
