The result: 35% more Add to Cart, 16% more completed purchases
So what happened after the changes?
We didn't introduce anything new. We didn't touch the product itself. We just made it easier to go through the process: fewer decisions at once, clearer steps, more visibility along the way.
That alone led to a 35% increase in Add to Cart conversions. Not because the offer changed, but because the experience finally made sense. On the A1 Slovenia project specifically, the same redesign also drove a 16% increase in fully completed transactions, using Liferay DXP and UX heuristics to make availability clearer and keep users informed through every step of the mobile purchase flow.
It's a simple thing, but it's easy to overlook when building digital platforms: the fix usually isn't more features. It's fewer decisions per step.
