The Project and the Challenge

It was crucial to revamp the customer portal of Raiffeisen Bank Zrt. with a modern, integrated, and user-friendly Content Management System (CMS) and portal framework. The project aimed to introduce a solution that supports Web Content Management (WCM) functions, can be integrated with the bank's existing infrastructure, supports SEO, and facilitates content approval processes. Additionally, it was essential to create an accurate replica of the existing website, migrate content, and streamline content management processes.

The Solution

The solution developed by Webtown was  Liferay platform-based, an ideal choice for developing large-scale portals and intranets. The fundamental project requirements included upgrading the content management system and portal framework, supporting integration, SEO, and content approval processes. The new system was fast and easily upgradable, flexibly adapting to business needs. Dynamic solutions replaced previous static content, significantly easing content publication processes. The most significant advantage of the project was introducing an efficient CMS system and pre-designed templates, enabling the bank to quickly create online marketing campaign microsites without the need for extensive development.

Summary

The project between Raiffeisen Bank Zrt. and Webtown demonstrated how innovative solutions can be implemented in the financial sector with the right technological choices and expertise.
