About the Project

In 2013, Szerencsejáték Zrt., with the collaboration of the Webtown team, recognized the significant need for online support in its internal sales processes and B2B communication. Adapting to the dynamics of the IT sector, the company is committed to operational optimization, efficiency enhancement, and building close relationships with partners through innovative solutions.

During the planning phase, a crucial consideration was ensuring that approximately 15,000 users within Szerencsejáték Zrt. and its partner network could navigate the new system seamlessly, catering to varying levels of internet proficiency, with the ÉTO usage causing no difficulties.

The Solution

The key to the project's success lies in selecting reliable, scalable, and user-friendly technologies. PHP programming language and the Symfony framework were chosen for their outstanding performance, modularity, and extensive community support, ensuring the reliability and maintainability of ÉTO. 

MySQL was utilized for database management, providing a robust and scalable solution for handling ÉTO's extensive data requirements. The integration of these technologies, led by the Webtown team, allowed for the creation of ÉTO—a platform that not only met but surpassed the project's objectives, improving the internal operations of Szerencsejáték Zrt. and communication with its partners.
